One dot per tree, coloured by family. At the citywide view the dots merge into a canopy; zoom in until they separate and each dot is a single tree you can tap to identify.

Use "Show one family" to keep a single family on screen, or search a street name to jump to it. Either way a line appears saying what is left showing, with the way back attached. With the map focused, arrow keys pan, plus and minus zoom, and Enter reads the tree under the crosshair.
